1. Who We Are

Vital ("we", "us", "our") is a mobile application that provides meal guidance, workout guidance, progress tracking, and wellness-oriented scan results based on user-submitted photos and profile information.

2. What Data We Collect

Account data: email address, name if provided during sign-up, and authentication details from email or Google sign-in.

Profile data: age, sex, weight, height, activity level, dietary preferences, allergies, fitness goals, and training venue preferences.

Photos: photos uploaded for scan analysis. These photos are sensitive data and are transmitted securely for processing.

Scan results: AI-generated analysis results, body metric estimates, meal guidance, workout guidance, and progress history linked to your account.

Technical data: device type, operating system version, app version, diagnostics, and crash logs.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the Vital service and generate scan results.
• To save progress history and support repeated check-ins.
• To maintain account security and authentication.
• To send account-related messages and optional notifications.
• To improve reliability using aggregated or anonymized technical signals.

4. Photo and AI Processing

Your photos and relevant profile details may be sent to an AI processing provider to generate your scan result. Photos are used to provide the requested analysis and are not sold or used for advertising.

Vital provides wellness-oriented estimates only. Results are not medical advice and should not be treated as a diagnosis or clinical measurement.

5. Storage and Security

Vital stores account data, profile data, and scan history using Supabase cloud infrastructure. We use encrypted transport, private storage controls, and database access rules intended to keep each user's data scoped to their account.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers needed to operate Vital, including hosting, authentication, AI processing, diagnostics, and payment processing providers where applicable.

7. Your Rights

If you are in the EU/EEA, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

8. Data Retention

We retain account data while your account is active. When you delete your account, associated profile data, scan history, and uploaded photos are deleted according to our app deletion flow and backend retention procedures.

9. Children's Privacy

Vital is not intended for users under 16 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify users through email, in-app notice, or another appropriate channel.
